Citizens’ Association “WagWag” has always had diligent, dedicated and creative volunteers since its foundation, i.e. from the first day. With such a fantastic team, even the most difficult periods of our activity can be overcome more easily.
Such work is best demonstrated through highly imaginative, creative and innovative ways of raising funds to cover veterinary costs, debts and be able to pay for food and private shelter for animals rescued from the streets.
It should be emphasized that collecting donations and seeking any form of sponsorship was particularly challenging in these difficult times of recession, inflation and the global Covid-19 pandemic.
Plans for the future
One of the primary plans of the association is that after the expansion of the WagWag web application, the income from advertisements on the digital platform will enable self-sustainability. At that moment, animal rescue will no longer depend on donations and the rescue capacity can be much higher.
